Brahma Kumaris is a 2014 Mid-West Design Build Award of Merit winner. TDK Construction was the general contractor for this 9,897 square foot meditation center in Houston. The designer was D.R. Associates. The roof is 24-gauge Solar White Double Lok standing seam with 6” of roof insulation, on a ¼:12 roof slope. EIFIS was applied over Mid-West 26-gauge reverse run PBU Galvalume wall panels and side panels, with 4” of insulation provided by Mid-West. Parapet walls extend to 16’ and curved molding by others was installed on top of our framing. Mid-West also supplied metal walk doors and framed openings.
Friendship Baptist Church earned the title of 2013 Mid-West Building of the Year. This 51,000 square foot addition to the original church, located in Owasso, OK, was designed by Daman+Lechtenberger, Tulsa, OK. General Contractor was Churches By Daniels, of Broken Arrow, OK. Mini Erectors was the erector and roof contractor.
The old and the new church were joined by an arched wall created of segmented steel with 2′ double framed walls. The roof was a combination of membrane and standing seam. The standing seam hipped roof adds drama to the project.
This 27,000 square-foot church features a roof slope of 4/12 and Double-Lok roof panels. endwall and sidewallpanels are PBU reverse roll. Petra Construction was the general contractor; A + D Erectors was the erector and roofing contractor. J.H. Designs was the Designer.
Located in Azle, Texas, is the Azle Methodist Church. This 7,081 square foot church building features an Ultra Dek® roof. Ultra Dek® is a standing seam roof system that is seamed with an interlocking snap-seam for fast and easy installation.
This intricate 9,703 square-foot project included four buildings and took 14 months to complete. It features a PBR metal roof system, and 26-gauage PBR sidewall panels in saddle tan.
Madison Church of Christ; Copeland and Sons, General Contractor; R.K. Wallace Construction, Inc., Erector. This 9,447 square-foot worship/education/fellowship facility features a 24-gauge Ultra Deck standing seam roof. Metal was chosen for its open worship span capabilities and its cost-efficiency.
The Anchor (Beaumont, TX) earned a Mid-West 2012 Award of Excellence. General contractor was Petra Construction of Bellville, TX. The 28,538 square foot church features Double-Lok and BattenLok roof panel on roof slopes of 3/12 and 1/2 on 12. Endwall panels are PBU and PBR with PBU sidewall panels. Other features include special door canopies with BattenLok panels, fascia system and entry drive canopy. A special color scheme was used for the standing seam roof panels. Construction took approximately 10 months.
The Holy Family Catholic Church is located in Baytown, Texas. This impressive church features PBD wall and soffit panels. The PBD panel is an exposed fastener panel that features sculptured ribs. Additionally, this project uses a Batten Lok® roof system. This system contains standing seam panels that are attached to the structural system with concealed clips.
